大判カメラを用いて大地を撮影し、微細な中心視の部分とその周辺の不確かな周辺視の部分を一つの平面上に同時に実現させた。それらは場所の固有性や出自を喪失させ、その場所を眼前にすることは異なる大地との対峙を提示した。
These landscape pieces were taken in large format. The work aims to present two elements: the microscopic foveal detail and the out of focus peripheral view.
By forgoing most of the unique peripheral details, the work shows the contrast between the world up close and the vast earth around it.
